Suzuki Ignis Broucher Leaked, means launch is very near in Japan, India Launch in September 2016
The Suzuki Ignis is the next big thing from Maruti Suzuki in India and infact worldwide. The Suzuki Ignis is based on all-new lightweight platform that the Suzuki Baleno uses. The platform promises 30% stiffer chassis and 15 percent reduction in weight. The Suzuki Ignis aka mini crossover has perfect compact dimensions.
Suzuki Ignis Broucher that has been leaked in Japan suggest that it is ready for launch in the home town of the manufacturer as the broucher details say everything about the car that we have suggested in EXCLUSIVE information over the past since its made in India. Suzuki Ignis has dimensions such as 3700 mm in length, 1660 mm in width and 1595 mm in height. The wheelbase stands at 2435 mm. Boot volume is set at 258 liters with rear seats up, and when folded down it stands at 415 liters.
Suzuki Ignis tagline stands at ‘versatility for daily life and leisure’. Thanks to high riding position, more than enough ground clearance and capability to go on all kind of terrain be it snow, mud or water. Powertrain wise it will be available in three variants: Hybrid MZ, Hybrid MX and Hybrid MG. The only engine available at launch is an India made 1.25-liter K12C aka which is a DualJet petrol four-cylinder engine with 91 PS @ 6000 rpm and 118 Nm @ 4400 rpm.
The engine is mated to an SHVS mild hybrid system with an electric motor that produces 3.1 PS and 50 Nm and the gearbox is a CVT unit. ALLGRIP in Suzuki speak is a AWD system that will be optional. Suzuki Ignis is capable of doing 28 km/L and with AWD-equipped machinery it can do 25.4 km/L in the Japanese fuel cycle. Suzuki Ignis Broucher reveals it will get 15 and 16-inch wheels options on base and top variants respectively.
Safety wise, Iginis gets ABS and EBD standard. India debut happens at Auto Expo expect it to have K12B engine and 1.3 Multijet diesel engine. Ignis will stand in high quality NEXA showrooms and looks like another blockbuster from Maruti which will go against another successful product, the KUV 100.
