Maruti Suzuki has been a consistent player in the SUV space courtesy of the Vitara Brezza, the brand’s only SUV available on sale. In the first month of the new financial year, Maruti Suzuki wants to capitalise on the Vitara Brezza’s good reception among customers and respond to increasing competition in the sub-four-metre SUV and thus offering Rs. 15,000 cash discount along with as much exchange bonus and Rs. 3,000 corporate bonus.
The second best-selling sub-4m SUV in India, Tata Nexon, gets Rs. 15,000 exchange and Rs. 3,000 corporate discount in the petrol version and the diesel variant gets Rs. 15,000 cash discount in addition. Ford’s EcoSport has seen declining sales numbers due to the arrival of Nexon and XUV300 while the soon-to-be-launched Hyundai Venue could prove to be a hammer blow for the American SUV.
In April 2019, it gets huge discounts courtesy of Rs. 35,000 cash offer, Rs. 15,000 exchange bonus, and Rs. 5,000 worth genuine accessories for women employee. The TUV300 is receiving a facelift sooner and ahead of which Rs. 35,000 cash discount and Rs. 15,000 exchange bonus are being provided. The Honda WR-V, on the other hand, comes with first-year comprehensive insurance and Rs. 15,000 exchange bonus.

The SUVs that do not feature any sort of discount this month are Mahindra XUV300, Tata Harrier, Toyota Fortuner, Hyundai Creta and Nissan Kicks. Renault does not seem to be bringing in the second generation Duster anytime soon in India and a facelift meeting upcoming crash standards will be launched in the coming months.
Currently, the French brand offers zero per cent interest rate calculated on loan of Rs 7.27 lakh for 18 months and comprehensive insurance for the first year. Just as the Duster, the BR-V gets the first year comprehensive insurance along Rs. 40,000 exchange bonus and Rs. 16,000 worth accessories. The crossover from Maruti Suzuki, S-Cross, gains Rs. 20,000 cash discount, Rs. 25,000 exchange bonus and Rs. 10,000 corporate discount.
Mahindra offers the Scorpio and XUV500 with Rs. 25,000 cash discount, Rs. 25,000 exchange bonus and up to Rs. 9,000 corporate discount. The Compass, on the other hand, gets Rs. 30,000 discount benefit on select models and its rival Hyundai Tucson features a massive total discount of Rs. 1.50 lakh (Rs. 25,000 discount, Rs. 75,000 exchange bonus and Rs. 50,000 corporate).
