The Marazzo comes loaded with lots of features even on the entry-level variant and it is powered by a new 1.5 L diesel engine with 123 PS
Mahindra officially launched the new Marazzo late last year in India. The Marazzo is based on a completely new platform and it is powered by a newly developed 1.5 L diesel engine with 123 PS of power and 300 Nm of torque. The power is sent to front wheels via 6-speed manual gearbox. Mahindra is offering lots of features even with the entry-level variant of Marazzo and here they are:
1. Dual Airbags
The Marazzo recently scored four-star rating in Global NCAP tests and the company is offering the MPV with lots of safety features as it gets dual airbags (driver and co-passengers) as standard.
2. Passenger Airbag Off-Switch
Mahindra is offering the Marazzo with passenger airbag off-switch and this feature is usually available in high-end cars only. Now the company is offering it in the recently launched XUV 300 too.
3. ABS with EBD
The government has made it mandatory from April, 1 that all cars must come with ABS as standard but the Marazzo is offering it since the launch along with Electronic Brake Distribution (EBD) also.
4. Four Disc Brakes
Most of the MPV models come with front disc and rear drum but Marazzo gets four disc brake as standard from base variant onwards, which will improve braking performance of the MPV.
5. ISOFIX Child Seat Mount
The MPV gets ISOFIX child seat mount for the second row of seats as standard from base variant onwards.
6. Integrated Spoiler with High Mount LED Stop lamp
Mahindra is offering the Marazzo with an integrated spoiler from base variant and high mount LED stop lamp also. Usually, the integrated spoiler is offered on the top end variant only.
7. Aircraft Inspired Rear AC vents
One of the unique features of new Marazzo is the aircraft-inspired AC vents as it helps the cabin to be cooled more efficiently.
8. Electrically Power Assisted and Tiltable Steering Wheel
The Marazzo comes with electrically power assisted steering wheel and the company is offering tilt adjust also, which makes it easier for the driver to find the right position.
9. Four Door Power Windows
The MPV gets power windows for all four doors as part of the standard feature.
10. 16-inch steel wheel
The entry-level model of Marazzo comes with 16-inch steel wheels with 265/65 section tyres and top variant gets alloy wheels.
