Skoda has reportedly confirmed that an all-electric sports car will be part of its lineup in the future. It is going to be one of the five electric vehicles up on sale by the middle of next decade. While explaining that the Czech brand is full of emotions filled through its 120-year-old history, technical boss Christian Strube has said that the legendary 110 R Coupe from the 70s brought a whole lot of excitement to the range.

The latest Vision E SUV concept drew power from a couple of electric motors as the combined power output was rated at 302 bhp.

One motor was fitted on each axle forming a four-wheel-drive pattern. It was rated to achieve a zero to 100 kmph acceleration time of six seconds before reaching 180 kmph. The Vision E was claimed to deliver an electric range of 500 km.
