The Himalayan will be one of the products will go down in the books to be the most frequently spied motorcycle of all time. After being spied in two body forms with new engines bolted on. The Himalayan is all set to be a refined offering from the motorcycle maker. Himalayan will come in two body, a tourer with relaxed riding position and lower seat height and a dedicated adventure bike with off-road tyres, even higher raised riding position, windscreen.

The Himalayan will be a 410cc, single-cylinder motor producing over 28 PS of power and over 32 Nm of torque. The engine should be a refined unit considering the improvement on the 535 CGT is already impressive. The Himalayan pictured here gets an oil-cooler which will should make things way more better than other motorcycles in this segment.

Rumours also suggest that the engine will get overhead cams, something that will replace the traditional push rods, this and a balancer shaft will automatically result in a better engine. Bike has KTM Duke alike front disc at the front and rear discs seem to be standard. A proper motorcycle type swingarm instead of tubular can be seen, which makes it more promising as a dynamic motorcycle. Gators on the telescopic suspension add to the nostalgic look.

The chassis is an all-new double cradle frame made by Harris Performance. The magic from Harris Performance is already visible and this new one should be even better than before. The subframe is also said to be reinforced to improve luggage carrying capability.
The Himalayan will get a new instrument cluster with digital display along with 2 trip meters, compass & altitude meter. It also looks like the Himalayan will come with Matte black paint option as well considering the bike in picture looks purposeful! Prices are said to be starting from Rs. 1.65 lakhs and will go all the way till Rs. 1.85 lakhs whether these numbers are ex-showroom or on-road is unknown as of now.
