Nissan Rocks LA Auto Show With ‘Star Wars’ Themed Concept Cars

These crazy looking Nissan cars promote the movie ‘Star Wars: The Last Jedi’; don’t expect them to enter production

Japanese automaker Nissan took the stage of LA Auto Show to display some really crazy concept cars that promote the movie Star Wars: The Last Jedi. The company built seven special concept models that come as the Jedi-themed versions of Rogue, Rogue Sport, Altima, Maxima and Titan. However, none of these exciting concept cars will enter production.

Speaking about the concept cars, there is a heavily modified Altima that draws inspiration from First Order’s elite special force pilots. This sedan gets matte black treatment with red trims and also features custom wheels, a Special Forces TIE Fighter inspired windshield. Also, there are large speakers fitted to each corner of the car.

The Maxima based concept has been inspired by Kylo Ren and it imitates the look of his mask. It dons black and silver colour theme. It also sports red headlights, underbody illumination. There are modified body panels as well. There is a second modified Maxima that comes with distinctive wings, red lighting on the front grille, headlamps and fog lamps as well. It also delivers the unique sound effects of Kylo Ren’s TIE Silencer.

Interestingly, there is a third Nissan Maxima, which comes as Captain Phasma variant. It dons silver armour across its entire body and these are made of aluminium. The car gets red and black contrasting paint scheme adding zing to the model. A Nissan Rouge has been designed in the craziest manner with wings. Also, it gets quad laser cannons and illuminated thrusters.

A Nissan Sport is there with faux thrusters at the back and it gets fins on the roof. It runs on blue wheels and this car is equipped with laser cannons. Nissan Titan pickup truck too has received modification and it gets a cannon and custom body wrap. It gets a 1 foot lift kit and a sound system with 18-inch subwoofer that is capable of delivering 5,000 watts of power.
