The new Hyundai Bayon will make its global debut on October 12 at the 2026 Paris Motor Show in France. The Euro-spec B-SUV will break cover during Hyundai Motor Europe’s press conference at Paris Expo Porte de Versailles. The new model will sit below the Kona as Hyundai keeps the Bayon in the B-SUV category and it has been around for five years now based on the i20.
Its replacement will introduce a substantial styling overhaul and a redesigned interior. The engine choices, transmissions and other details will be revealed at its world premiere. The European Bayon looks to be separate from the new model Hyundai has prepared for India. The Indian SUV has already reached the booking stage ahead of its local launch and sits on the Global K Enhanced Platform.
The powertrain range includes a petrol engine and manual or IVT gearbox choices. The cabin also gets an in-built generative AI voice assistant as Hyundai adds more connected functions. The India-bound Bayon might have a noticeably more upright SUV profile based on the sketches and information released so far.

The new B-SUV will take centre stage as the only global premiere among Hyundai’s SUV announcements at the event. We do expect the India- and Euro-spec Bayons to have a lot in common at least in terms of design. The SUV will stretch slightly over 4.2 metres in India and it will be loaded with modern equipment and technologies inside the cabin.

The features list will boast a large touchscreen infotainment system with in-car connected tech, an all-digital instrument console, dual-zone climate control, panoramic sunroof, six airbags as standard, wireless charging facility, ADAS and much more.
