Hyundai is gradually revealing its upcoming Bayon SUV, with the latest teasers offering the clearest look yet at its exterior design. The company has shown the front LED daytime-running lights, alloy wheels and rear LED tail-lamps, following the design sketches revealed earlier this week. The Bayon will be positioned between the Venue and Creta and is expected to launch in India during the 2026 festive season.
The Bayon teasers reveal slim, inverted-L-shaped LED DRLs positioned high on the fascia, while the main headlamps appear to sit lower down on the bumper. Creating a split-headlamp arrangement, with the lighting signature giving the SUV a distinctive face. sketches also reveal a sculpted bonnet, pronounced front fenders and sharp character lines. Hyundai calls the lighting treatment its H-Edge signature, while the overall design follows the company’s evolving Art of Steel philosophy. The lower bumper appears fairly chunky, with a rugged-looking skid plate adding to the SUV character.
The side profile has not been fully revealed yet, but earlier spy shots combined with the latest teaser give us a reasonable idea of what to expect. The Bayon has a rising window line, a noticeable kink around the C-pillar and pronounced wheel-arch cladding. The latest teaser reveals 17-inch dual-tone alloy wheels with an elaborate geometric pattern. The black cladding around the wheel arches should contrast with the bodywork and give the SUV a more rugged appearance. Roof rails are also expected.

The India-spec Bayon is expected to measure around 4.18 metres, making it considerably longer than the Venue while remaining below the Creta. Despite sharing its name with Hyundai’s overseas Bayon crossover, the Indian model gets a substantially different body design.
The rear teaser reveals another distinctive element. The Bayon gets slim, angular LED tail-lamps positioned high on the rear corners, with a horizontal black section visually connecting the two sides. The overall rear design appears relatively upright, with a roof spoiler and chunky bumper adding to its crossover character. The lighting treatment also mirrors the angular theme seen at the front, giving the SUV a consistent design identity.

Hyundai has already shown an interior design sketch, and this could be another major highlight. The dashboard features twin connected screens, a three-spoke steering wheel and a vertically oriented centre section for the HVAC controls. Physical controls and a wireless charging pad are also visible in the sketchThe cabin bears a strong resemblance to the recently revealed fourth-generation i20, although the Bayon gets its own SUV-oriented treatment. Hyundai says the interior has been designed around technology, connectivity and everyday usability.
With its launch expected this festive season, Hyundai is positioning the Bayon between the Venue and Creta, giving buyers another SUV option with a more economical powertrain focus.
