This Modified Royal Enfield Classic 500 By Singh Customs Is Elegant

The owner of this bike doesn’t want the stock design to be replaced completely instead they have made some minor changes to Classic 500 to look even more elegant

Royal Enfield bikes are a popular choice for modifications as customers want to make their bike unique from others. The latest project by Singh Customs took a different approach for the modification of Classic 500. The owner of this bike is Ankur Borana and he doesn’t want the stock design to be replaced completely instead they have made some minor changes to Classic 500 to look even more elegant.

The Classic 500 get new headlamps which are LEDs along with new wider handle bar. The front mud-guard design is different from the stock model and Singh Customs replaced dual pod instrument cluster and replaced them with a single unit. The seats are custom made and it is finished in brown colour while the rear seat had been removed to continue the elegant theme.

The crash guard is surrounded in nylon rope for the muscular look. The suspension continues to be stock and the rear mud-guard is also new. At the rear, they have removed the tail lights and number plate at the rear.  The stock wheel has been replaced with alloy wheels and wider rubber at the front and rear.

They have also given a new custom exhaust for the Classic 500 apart from this they haven’t made any mechanical changes. Royal Enfield Classic 500 is powered by 499 cc single cylinder engine producing 27.20 hp of power at 5,250 rpm and 41.30 Nm of torque at 4,000 rpm. This engine is mated to 5 speed gearbox. With the upgraded exhaust, we can expect the power to go up slightly along with reduced weight which might result in improved efficiency and performance for the Classic 500.

Singh Customs haven’t revealed the price of modification. This simple modification doesn’t affect the life of engine or other mechanical parts much as the main thing they have done is reducing the weight compared to stock bike. The stock classic 500 is available in three colours – Classic Tan, Classic Black ad Classic Silver. Royal Enfield priced the Classic 500 at Rs. 1.84 Lakh (Ex-Showroom, Mumbai).
