MINI Countryman launched in India, Priced at Rs. 36.5 Lakhs, comes as CBU unit to India
BMW India has launched the new MINI Countryman in the country. The formula of the car remains the same there are ample changes to make the car more appealing. The bold powerdome, contoured bonnet, redesigned hexagonal grille, increased ground clearance, short overhangs and large xenon headlights with LED foglights together give a commanding feel. MINI Countryman has bigger wheel arches and standard-fitted 17-inch alloy wheels, also contribute to the visual impact of the new MINI Countryman. Chrome Line Interior and Chrome Line Exterior enhance the exclusive design. The rear light clusters creates a distinctively muscular look.

MINI Countryman features list include a height adjustable standard Sports Leather Seats, along with multi-function Sport Leather Steering Wheel. Radio MINI Boost CD player has the optional state-of-the-art 10 speaker 640 watt Hi-Fi Harmon Kardon music system on offer. A newly configured range of interior colours, trim elements and upholstery materials are done to the interior of the MINI Countryman.
MINI Countryman backseat’s are now available in a 40:20:40 split and the optional Panaoramic Glass-roof is also made available.The new MINI Central Display is also optionally available with the 6.5 inch display with Radio MINI Visual Boost. When hooked up to your smart phone, MINI Connected provides information of digital information and entertainment through relevant apps.
Powering the MINI Countryman is the four-cylinder turbo-diesel engine with common-rail injection and variable turbine geometry, churns a of output of 112 hp produces a maximum torque of 270 Nm at 1,750 – 2250 rpm. It accelerates from 0-100 km/hr in just 11.3 seconds to a top speed of 185 km / hr. Power goes to the front wheels via a new six-speed Steptronic transmission stands out with its exceptional precision and shifting ability.
MINI Countryman has paddle shifters made available for manual control. MINI Countryman also gets Automatic Start/Stop function, Brake Energy Regeneration, Electric Power Steering, 50:50 Weight Distribution. MINI Countryman gets safety equipment comprises of 6 airbags, 3-point seat belts, Dynamic Stability Control including Dynamic Traction Control, Anti-lock Braking System, Brake Assist and Run-flat indicator.
