Meet Hyundai Creta’s Chinese Rival, The Venucia T60

The interior design of T60 is modern as the company has given all black interior with fake carbon fibre inserts for the centre portion of dashboard

Venucia officially revealed T60 crossover online for Chinese market ahead of its public debut later this year. The design takes some inspiration from Nissan Kicks and the company is offering dual tone colour theme for T60. The front gets wide grille with Vencia logo in centre followed by swept projector headlamp.

The front bumper has vertically placed LED fog lamps but T60 doesn’t come with faux skid plates. The company has given black plastic cladding, which runs across the body and T60 comes with big alloy wheels. At rear, the company has given boomerang shape tail lamps and dual exhaust pipe, which does make the T60 look sporty.

The interior design of T60 is modern as company has given all black interior with carbon fibre design theme for the centre portion of dashboard. The T60 comes with three spoke multi-function steering wheel and all digital instrument cluster, which provide lots of information for the driver.

The T60 comes with touch screen infotainment system placed on top of dashboard like a tablet and automatic AC is controlled via touch screen like those on Honda City. The company hasn’t released details about features but it will come with keyless entry, push button start, panoramic sunroof, automatic wiper, cruise control and more.

Venucia hasn’t revealed engine options for T60 but according to various reports, it will be powered by 1.6 L naturally aspirated engine from Nissan HR16 and it can produce 126 hp. This engine is mated to 5 speed manual and CVT automatic transmission. We can also expect Venucia to offer smaller 1.4 L engine also.

Some reports also indicate that T60 might come with optional four wheel drive system. In future, an electric version of T60 might come as Chinese government is pushing EVs. The T60 is expected to be priced around 10 lakh and it will be positioned below Hyundai Creta and above Ford EcoSport is Chinese market.
