Maruti Suzuki Vitara Brezza Sports Limited Edition gets a number of cosmetic updates to set it apart from the standard model
Maruti Suzuki India Limited (MSIL) has today introduced the country’s best-selling SUV, the Vitara Brezza, with Sports Limited Edition. Compared to the standard model, the Sports version gets a number of cosmetic changes including an appealing package containing new body graphics, sporty wheel arch cladding, leather steering cover, dual colour door sill-guards and a more premium chrome grille garnish.
Another interesting thing is that the Maruti Suzuki Vitara Brezza Sports Limited Edition is available for existing customers as well as the convert their SUV at an additional price of Rs 29,990. Buyers will have the option to choose a range of accessories for increased personalisation levels. It comprises of new seat covers, front and rear garnish, designer mats, wheel arch kit, neck cushion, slide cladding, body graphics, leather steering cover, door sill-guard, and so on.
The Vitara Brezza has been around for more than three years in the Indian market and it rose to fame in no time and quickly deposed Hyundai Creta as the best-selling SUV in the country. In the 2018-19 financial year, Maruti Suzuki retailed over 1,57,880 units of the Vitara Brezza with a market share of over 44 per cent.
The segment is seeing increased rivals in recent times but the subcompact SUV has continued to maintain its momentum. Within just 35 months of its market debut, Maruti Suzuki sold more than four lakh units of the Vitara Brezza – making it the fastest SUV to achieve this feat. Cumulatively, the Indo-Japanese manufacturer has delivered over 4.35 lakh units of the Vitara Brezza in India.

Last year, Maruti Suzuki added AGS technology to the Vitara Brezza’s lineup and it has received an overwhelming response from customers with penetration as high as 53 per cent in Mumbai and 32 per cent in Delhi.

The Vitara Brezza is expected to get a new petrol engine in the coming months as well. Meanwhile, the segment saw the debut of Mahindra XUV300 in February and Hyundai’s Venue has been newly launched with an aggressive starting price of just Rs. 6.50 lakh (ex-showroom).
