Maruti Suzuki India has just launched its Ecstar brand in the Indian car market. Ecstar is the company’s global brand of coolant, lubricants and car care products. In the initial phase, the Ecstar will be offered to customers at the new Nexa Service workshops. Later on, this product range will reach the company’s full service network that consists of 3,000 workshops across the country.
Ecstar that happens to be the brand of high-performance engine oil, coolant and chemical products was launched by Suzuki Motor Corporation back in the year 1984. In 2015, Suzuki started promoting Ecstar as a global brand of high quality car care products. Presently, Ecstar has a strong presence across Europe, America, Mexico, Australia along with South East Asia.
Regarding the launch of Ecstar product range in India, Mr. Kenichi Ayukawa, who is the Managing Director and CEO of Maruti Suzuki stated that on the journey of transformation, the company has been bringing a range of new models and technologies. To ensure optimum performance of these new technologies, Maruti now brings a range of Suzuki global engine oils and lubricants. These products have undergone rigorous testing under extreme conditions and offer great peace of mind to customers.
The company claims that the Ecstar engine oil possesses the optimal formulation for lubrication and a cooling effect that ensures the highest level of performance. The mixture of high performance synthetic base oil additives contribute a lot to Ecstar’s superiority over the conventional engine oils, thus ensuring a remarkable engine performance, the company noted.
The Ecstar product range will be obtained from select local suppliers here. These dealers will undergo strict tests to qualify their products to be included under the Ecstar umbrella. The Ecstar product family includes underbody coat, automatic transmission oil, Injector cleaner and screen wash for the cars. With the passage of time, more products will be added to this range.
