The first-ever special edition model of the Mahindra XUV700, the Blaze Edition sports multiple cosmetic tweaks inside out; Limited to just 2,500 units

Mahindra & Mahindra updated the XUV700 for the MY2024 model in January this year and it got multiple new features like ventilated seats, first-in-segment ORVMs with memory function, the option of captain seats in top-spec trims and a new Napoli Black colour option. In the latest development, the Indian SUV maker has launched a special Blaze Edition model of the XUV700 at a starting price of Rs. 24.24 lakh (ex-showroom). Additionally, the Blaze Edition XUV700 has also started reaching dealerships.

The Blaze Edition is based on the top-spec AX7 L variant and commands a premium of Rs. 25,000 over it. The petrol AT 7-seater is priced at Rs. 25.54 lakh (ex-showroom) while the diesel AT 7-seater will set you back by Rs. 26.4 lakh (ex-showroom). The aforementioned starting price of Rs. 24.24 lakh is for the diesel MT 7-seater variant.

To begin with, the XUV700 Blaze Edition will be wrapped in an exclusive dual-tone ‘Matte Blaze Red’ paint scheme paired with a Napoli Black roof.  Furthermore, the alloy wheels, ORVMs and front grille will get a blacked-out treatment in order to lend the SUV a distinctive appeal. We can also spot the blacked-out B, C and D-pillar which helps to accentuate the overall stance of the XUV700.

Inside the cabin, the Mahindra XUV700 Blaze Edition will feature an all-black cabin layout with red highlights on certain elements. The dashboard along with the seat upholstery as well as the door trims are finished in black. The contrasting red highlights are present on the AC vents and centre console along with red stitching on the seat upholstery.

This Blaze Edition can be a good opportunity for customers who have concerns regarding the light-coloured interiors of the XUV700, particularly due to maintenance hassles. For reference, this is the first-ever special edition model of the Mahindra XUV700. On the other hand, its closest rival, the Tata Safari has had multiple special edition models in the past.
