Mahindra Mojo Price is seen an increase by 3%, Value for money quotient still good enough
Mahindra Mojo has been the most anticipated motorcycles till date. After being teased five years back and internals decision pre and postponing dates and changing things on motorcycles finally saw the motorcycle come to life last month. Mahindra gave us a 650 km ride and tell us how it does the motorcycle in its natural environment. After a soft launch and even as we rode during the ride Mahindra official told us that there will be a price increase once the festive season is over.
So as soon as Diwali was over and deliveries commenced of the Mojo. The fresh batch of motorcycles which were being booked are set to be charged Rs. 5000 more than before. The Mojo came at an ex-showroom price of 1.58 lakh and now it is priced at 1.63 lakhs ex-showroom Delhi.
The price hike is minimum as of now and we expect it go another Rs. 5000/- in the future which should early next year. Even at 1.68-70 lakhs when the prices increase again it should stay good value. It still remains good value as you get the best suspension, tyres and technology inside the bike along with cool features.
The Mojo is hardcore sports tourer and does the job very well. The engine is 300cc unit which makes 27 BHP and 30 Nm of torque. The bike has a powerful engine coupled to a 6-speed smooth gearbox as well. 21 litre fuel tank, 180 kg kerb weight makes it even more focused at what it does.
The Mojo goes against the likes of Honda CBR250R, and KTM duo’s such as the KTM Duke 200 and Duke 390 as it priced between the both. Let’s see what happens next with the Mojo can’t live upto the name (pun intended)
