Besides the MT, the Kia Seltos diesel also comes with an iMT transmission in the mid-spec variants and a six-speed torque converter AT in the top-end trims
Kia India has today announced the launch of five new variants of the 2024 Seltos in Tech Line grade equipped with a six-speed manual transmission and a 115 PS producing 1.5L four-cylinder diesel engine. With a competitive starting price of Rs. 11,99,900 (ex-showroom) across the country, it is presented in HTE, HTK, HTK+, HTX and HTX+ trims to appeal to a wide band of customers.
The prices go all the way up to Rs. Rs. 18,27,900 (ex-showroom). The inclusion of new trims has resulted in the Seltos range expanding to a total of 24 variants. The fifth-largest car producer in the country introduced the facelifted Seltos in July 2023 and it has been well received by customers. The cumulative sale numbers have reached 65,000 units to date.
The 2024 Kia Seltos comes with 32 safety features, including 15 features and technologies standard across the range while the Level 2 ADAS technology enables 17 features. The midsize SUV is loaded with features including a dual-screen panoramic display with a 26.04 cm fully digital instrument cluster and a 26.03 cm HD touchscreen infotainment system with navigation.

Other highlights are a 360-degree camera system, six airbags as standard, a wireless smartphone charger and push button start/stop. The equipment list also comprises dual-zone automatic climate control, 17-inch crystal-cut alloy wheels, panoramic sunroof, EPB (Electric Parking Brake) and much more. Myung-sik Sohn, Chief Sales and Business Strategy Officer at Kia India said,

The Seltos was the first model introduced by Kia back in 2019 and it has recorded over six lakh unit sales in the domestic and global markets. The five-seater has contributed to over 51 per cent of the brand’s local volumes. With 1 out of every 10 Kia cars sold globally being Seltos, it holds a significant role in the company’s lineup.
