In JK Tyre Racing Championship Round 3, bikes come for the first time, Triumph Daytona dominate the 600cc category

JK Tyre racing championship has taken a new stage all together after sponsoring the Polo Cup it’s time for the Vento Cup. Formula 4 was always there and now there are bikes and not just ordinary bikes. Triumph Daytona 675R, one of the most awarded and championship winning motorcycles worldwide.

Today was no different as Triumph wins the JK Tyre Super Bike championship. Three days of action pack track racing at the already iconic Buddh International circuit, saw a lot of excitement and adrenaline pumping through the premises.

Formula 4 saw 25 drivers competing each other. Ace driver from Chennai Ajay Kini, who is already a pilot by profession continues to lead the points chart with multiple victories. Behind him is Raghul Rangaswamy. Season guys Vishnu is also eyeing for the top spot as he is all set to take on the competition in the next round along with 5-6 other talented rider who are eagerly waiting to get their hands on the winning trophy.

The second day of the Round 3 of JK Tyre Racing Championship 2015 started with the Vento Cup race. The third victory for New Delhi’s Karminder Pal Singh was witnessed. Starting sixth on the grid already, Karminder made early moves in the first two laps of the race to take the lead. Karminder was fighting 18 other drivers on the grid.

Clinching the second spot on the podium was Hyderabad’s Ishaan Dodhiwala. Following him was Prabhanj Paruchuri, who climbed the podium for the first time in his racing career. After two victories over the weekend, Anindith Reddy took the podium pole position. However, with close results like these, the fight for the top honours will go down to the last race of the last round at Buddh International Circuit to be held from 27th to 29th November.

Triumph Motorcycles on the other hand with the Daytona 675 and Daytona 675R SuperSports Motorcycles were seen in the 600+ category race for two wheelers at the JK Tyre Racing Championship 2015 for the first time. First time for bikes and first time at the Buddh International Circuit in Greater Noida that happened between 16 – 18 October, 2015.

This is the first time that Triumph Motorcycles has participated in the championship in the two-wheeler segment and all the participants had their Daytonas prepped for a hardcore race. The top 3 winners infact, in the 600 cc category exciting race emerged as Mr. Vijay Singh, Mr. Gurvinder Singh and Mr. Archit Kumar and all of them were on Daytona 675. Let’s wait for final showdown which will held from 27th to 29th November.
