Customers need to pay Rs. 2 lakh as down payment for Scout Sixty, Scout and Scout Bobber and 85 percent loan will be provided via private bank

Indian Motorcycle has officially announced a new financing scheme. The customers need to pay Rs. 2 lakh only as down payment for Scout Sixty, Scout and Scout Bobber, and the private bank will give 85 percent loan at interest rate of 7.99 percent for three years. This limited period offer is available only this month.

The American manufacturer introduced this offer as part of customer delight programme and it will help prospective customers to get their favourite Indian Motorcycle easily. Indian Motorcycle currently sells 10 products in India from entry level Scout Sixty priced at Rs. 10.99 lakh (Ex-Showroom) to Roadmaster Elite at Rs. 48 lakh (Ex-Showroom).

Earlier, Indian Motorcycle announced price cut of almost Rs. 3 lakh as government reduced import tax on CBU products. The company imports its entire portfolio from America compared to Harley Davidson and other manufacturers who import only high end bikes – as other products are assembled in India.

This price cut has helped Indian Motorcycles to improve its sales and premium bike segment is experiencing good growth thanks to excise duty cut. The manufacturers are expecting the positive sales momentum to continue forward in festival season and most of them are planning to announce exciting offers to attract more customers.
