Ford Mustang is no ordinary car in the world automotive history. With the new generation model, Ford has taken this car’s popularity to another level upwards. The new generation Ford Mustang is the only sports coupe to cross a whooping 1 lakh sales mark in last year only. Not only in the US, but across the world the car has a huge popularity. In India too Ford is all set to launch the iconic sports coupe for the first time. The India bound Ford Mustang was showcased earlier this year in February at the 2016 New Delhi Auto Expo. It is expected to hit the showrooms sometime around June.

In last year only, Ford Mustang coupes sold 110000 units, while the Mustang convertibles sold around 30000 units. Earlier the Mustang was only sold in the US, but now the iconic American muscle car is now being sold across 140 global markets which include UK, Germany, France, Australia, South Africa, Cyprus and Malta. Germany is undoubtedly one of the leading countries in terms of sports manufactures which include Audi, BMW, Mercedes, and Porsche. But the new Ford Mustang has left all of them behind with the stunning sales record last year. In Australia and New Zealand has seen a strong demand for the car.
