Hyundai is gearing up for one of its busiest product cycles in India in recent years. The company has confirmed multiple new products as part of its India roadmap, including the upcoming Bayon, an all-new Creta, a new compact electric SUV and the next-generation i10. While the Bayon is now close to launch, the other three models are expected to arrive over the next couple of years.
The Bayon is the most immediate launch on this list. Hyundai has already opened bookings for the SUV, with deliveries expected to follow shortly. It is based on the Global K Enhanced platform and will be offered with a petrol engine paired with manual and IVT transmissions.
Hyundai has also confirmed an in-built generative AI voice assistant as one of its key technology highlights. The SUV gets Hyundai’s latest Art of Steel design language, with a prominent SUV stance and distinctive lighting elements. It is expected to sit below the Creta and strengthen Hyundai’s presence in the roughly 4.2-metre SUV space.

The Creta is set for a much bigger change. Hyundai has officially confirmed an all-new generation, with the SUV expected to arrive in India by 2027. Test mules have already been spotted, pointing towards a larger and more upright design. The new Creta is expected to move to Hyundai-Kia’s newer K3 platform, which also underpins the latest-generation Seltos. This could bring changes to its dimensions, cabin space, technology and safety equipment. A more advanced infotainment system and expanded ADAS functionality are also expected.
Hyundai is also preparing a locally produced compact electric SUV. The model is expected to arrive towards the end of 2026 and will sit below the Creta Electric in Hyundai’s EV line-up. The upcoming EV is expected to use a dedicated/localised electric architecture and will target the likes of the Tata Nexon EV and other compact electric SUVs. Reports suggest it will use locally sourced Exide batteries as Hyundai increases localisation of its EV portfolio.

The fourth major product is the next-generation i10. It will replace the current Grand i10 Nios, bringing a comprehensive redesign rather than another facelift. Details remain limited at this stage, but the new i10 is expected to receive a thoroughly redesigned exterior and cabin, along with more connected technology and safety features. The existing 1.2-litre petrol and CNG powertrains could continue, although Hyundai has not confirmed the final specifications.
