Hyundai introduced segment first wireless charger in the top-spec variant of Xcent and it is the fourth model from the company to come with this premium feature

Wireless charging is one of the most popular features in modern smartphones and Hyundai has introduced it in Xcent, as earlier, it was only available in Verna, Creta, Tucson and Elantra. The segment first feature is only available on the top-spec SX(O) and the company hasn’t made any other changes for the compact sedan.

Even though Xcent is priced aggressively, the current generation model is not selling in the same league as its competitors. Earlier this year, the company made ABS and EBD as a standard feature in the Xcent. The compact sedan received a major facelift last year as part of the mid-life update and next-generation model is expected to arrive by the end of this decade.

The Xcent facelift model gets new signature grille of Hyundai along with updated bumper and redesigned fog lamp housing with LED DRLs integrated into it. The side gets new diamond cut alloy wheels also. The designers have given a completely new design for the rear with updated tail lamps and a new bumper.

The interior didn’t get major changes and the company has given USB ports for charging. The compact sedan is loaded with features like touchscreen infotainment system with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, climate control, push-button start, keyless entry, rear AC vents, cooled glove box, revere camera with parking sensors and more.
