Hyundai Venue will be offered in three different engine options and boasts a range of segment-first features
Hyundai Motor India Limited (HMIL) will be officially launching the Venue later today. Having announced its intentions to enter the sub-four-metre SUV space way back in 2016 through the Carlino concept at Auto Expo 2016, Hyundai waited for long and is finally unveiled as the Venue has already been received good booking numbers.
It will compete against the segment-leading Vitara Brezza, Tata Nexon, Ford EcoSport and the recently launched Mahindra XUV300. The Venue has followed the latest design language adopted by the brand globally with a premium interior stuffed with features.

The Venue will be sold in E, S, SX, SX+ and SX(O) trims across three different engine options: A 1.0-litre turbocharged petrol mated to a segment-first seven-speed DCT developing 120 PS and 172 Nm, a 1.2-litre MPI petrol kicking out 83 PS/115 Nm and a 1.4-litre diesel pushing out 90 PS and 220 Nm of torque.
Hyundai Venue E:
The entry-level Venue E will be retailed in the manual 1.2-litre petrol and manual 1.4-litre diesel trims. It comes with several standard safety features including dual front airbags, ABS and EBD, reversing sensors, high-speed warning, speed sensing door lock system and ISOFIX child mounts. Other main features include day/night IRVM, tilt adjustable steering wheel, manual central locking, engine immobilizer, clutch lock, body coloured bumper and outside door handle, clutch footrest, impact-sensing door unlock, etc.
Hyundai Venue S:
The S variant, on the other hand, can be had in 1.2-litre petrol manual, 1.4-litre petrol manual and 1.0-litre petrol manual or DCT. The equipment list comprises of all the facilities from base E along with improved convenience and entertainment elements and it could be the variant most people might find as a bang for the buck.
It consists of keyless entry, electronically adjustable ORVM, roof rails, dark chrome theme radiator grille, headlamp escort, rear defogger, body colour ORVM, rear power outlet, rear parcel tray, double stitched fabric seat covers, centre console fixed armrest with storage, rear AC vent and all power windows with driver-side one-touch.
Additionally, it will offer cooled glove box, sun visor mirror, 2-DIN audio, steering control for infotainment and phone, four-speaker audio, Electronic Stability Control, Vehicle Stability Management and so on.
Hyundai Venue SX:
It can be had in single-tone and dual-tone colour choices with 1.0-litre manual and 1.4-litre diesel options. Some of the highlighting features are eight-inch HD touchscreen infotainment system with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto connectivity, Arkamys tuned speakers, voice recognition, USB charger, shark fin antenna, leather seats, projector fog lamps, projector headlamps, automatic headlamps, cornering headlamps, LED DRL and power foldable wing mirrors with integrated turn signals.
Hyundai Venue SX+:
The Venue SX+ variant will only available in the 1.0-litre turbo petrol DCT specification. It gets a range of equipment like ESC, VSM, BAS, Burglar alarm, Day/Night IRVM, smart key plus push-button start, air purifier, chrome door handles, supervision cluster with rheostat, wireless charging facility, eight-inch HD infotainment screen and telematics among others.

The Venue SX (O) will be present in 1.0-litre manual and 1.4-litre diesel manual specifications with single-tone colour choice. The range-topping models gain six airbags along with an assortment of safety techs, wireless charger, air purifier, 60:40 split seat, Hyundai Blue Link connectivity with 33 connective features (10 India-specific), e-SIM card and so on.
