Honda Elevate Gets A Big Price Hike In India – New Vs Old Prices

The prices of the Honda Elevate midsize SUV have been hiked by up to Rs. 58,000 In India; here we bring you the new price list

Honda Cars India introduced the Elevate in September 2023 and it has been well received by customers as it is a sensible package at a competitive price range. For the first time, the Japanese auto major has increased the prices of the midsize SUV across its range. The first month of a new calendar year will often see automakers hiking prices citing various reasons.

As for the Honda Elevate, the price of the entry-level SV MT has been increased by Rs. 58,000 as it now costs Rs. 11,57,900 (ex-showroom). Except the base variant, all other trims have seen a hike of Rs. 20,000 in uniformity. The V MT is priced at Rs. 12,30,900 from this month onwards while the V CVT carries a price tag of Rs. 13,40,900.

The VX grade is also available in manual and CVT versions and the former is quoted with a price of Rs. 13,69,900 now while the latter is priced at Rs. 14,79,900. The new price of the range-topping ZX MT is Rs. 15,09,900 and the ZX CVT is priced at Rs. 16,19,900 (all prices, ex-showroom).

The Honda Elevate is based on the same platform as the fifth generation City midsize sedan. It derives power from a tried-and-tested 1.5L four-cylinder VTEC petrol engine, producing a maximum power output of 121 PS and 145 Nm of peak torque. It is paired with a six-speed manual transmission as standard while a CVT is an option.

It competes with Hyundai Creta, Kia Seltos, Maruti Suzuki Grand Vitara, Toyota Urban Cruiser Hyryder, MG Astor, VW Taigun, Skoda Kushaq, etc. It has an overall length of 4,312 mm, a width of 1,790 mm and a height of 1,650 mm with a wheelbase length of 2,650 mm.

It has the largest bootspace in its class at 458 litres and the highest ground clearance at 220 mm. The equipment list comprises a 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system with connectivity options, six airbags, a seven-inch TFT meter cluster, etc. The Elevate is shipped from India as the new WR-V to Japan.
