Hero Showcased Xpulse 200T, Desert 200, Scrambler 200, Cafe Racer 200 Along with production version of Xpulse 200 At EICMA 2018

Hero Motocorp showcased four new 200 cc motorcycles at EICMA today. The four motorcycles included a production version of Xpulse 200 Adventure Tourer alongside 4 new concepts including Xpulse 200 T, Xpulse Scrambler based on the same motorcycle, a stripped down desert variant of the Scrambler and lastly Xpulse 200 T Flat track version and lastly a café racer concept.

All these motorcycles are powered by the same 200 cc, single cylinder engine and there is a chance that some of them might come to the Indian shores soon.

The four new concepts showcased alongside the production-spec Xpulse 200 are the road going concept of their Xpulse 200 Adventure Tourer. The motorcycle has been christened as Xpulse 200T and is clearly a road-going version of the Adventure Tourer which you can notice in the image.

The motorcycle features an all LED headlamps towards the front followed by a small windshield to deflect air. The tank looks quite big which will definitely provide a long range to the motorcycle while the seats, in particular, is a single seat instead of split ones which will provide plenty of support and comfort to the rider.

The Xpulse 200 also gets a long suspension towards the front which will help to soak up some bumps while the rear gets a monoshock unit. The exhaust to looks quite stubby as well and we believe that the engine is BSVI complaint one.

The second motorcycle which was unveiled alongside the production-spec Xpulse 200 is the Scrambler variant of the same motorcycle. The motorcycle too shares almost all, its parts with the Xpulse 200 including the chassis, engine, wheels and the headlamps. However, this motorcycle misses out on the windshield and gets different styled flat seats which help it to also gain the Scrambler appearance.

The motorcycle also features a different styled exhaust as well. The exhaust has been positioned slightly above the normal position which can be seen generally in any Scrambler motorcycles. The motorcycle also features a different rear tires hugger as well. Both the Xpulse 200 and the Scrambler 200 gets discs brakes on both front and rear wheels.

Hero also showcased another Desert variant of the Xpulse 200 which gets a stripped-down appearance. The motorcycle too gets a desert paint scheme to it which definitely looks attractive. The motorcycle features a minimalistic approach to its styling. It features the same kind of headlamps which are also seen on the other two motorcycles followed by a long suspension travel, knobby tires and a single flat seat with contrast colors.

The motorcycle also gets an engine cowl made out of metal as well to protect the engine. The exhaust has also been positioned just below the seat on one side of the motorcycle while the handlebars too look different and wide on this motorcycle.  Hero also showcased two other concepts in the form of a Flat Track motorcycle and a café racer which looks equally good besides these motorcycles.

All these motorcycles are powered by the same 200cc air-cooled single-cylinder engine as the Xtreme 200R off course in a different state of tune.

This engine produces about 18.4bhp of peak power and 17.1Nm of torque via a five-speed gearbox.
