Hero MotoCorp – the world’s largest two-wheeler manufacturer has sold a total of 7.5 crore vehicles till date. The company has a target of achieving 10 crore cumulative sales till the year 2020.

Not only this, Hero MotoCorp also intends to mark its presence in 50 new markets and set up 20 more production plants across the world by 2020. With all this, the manufacturer looks forward to a healthy turnover of Rs. 60,000 crores by the said year.

However, in the last few months, the growth of Hero MotoCorp has not been good due to the industry slowdown with the incoming of a number of factors. Now, the good part is that the company seems to be back on track and is gradually recovering from the hurdles.

Hero MotoCorp sold a total of 6.78 lakh two-wheelers last month and created a new record for itself. With the onset of the festive season, the company is hoping for bigger numbers as the sale of vehicles in India are on an all-time high during the said time.

In other news, Hero MotoCorp is all set to launch its all-new naked streetfighter Xtreme 200S in the coming weeks. The motorcycle was first showcased as a concept at the 2016 Auto Expo and gained a lot of attention. Besides the Xtreme 200S, the company also has a lot of products in the pipeline and will now be focussing on big capacity bikes. The company had showcased the HX250R back in 2014 that is still waiting to see the light. The manufacturer did displayed the bike again at the 2016 motoring exhibition and renamed it to HX250.

Hero MotoCorp will also be investing close to Rs. 3,000 crores in the R&D of big capacity motorcycles. The upcoming products will be planned and developed at the company’s Centre of Innovation & Technology (CIT) at Jaipur, Rajasthan.
