The facelift model get 6.5 inch floating touchscreen unit with Ford Sync 3 system which supports Apple CarPlay and Android Auto
Ford is currently working on a mid-life facelift for Aspire. The test mule of Aspire facelift has been spotted which reveals the changes coming for the new model. The front get new hexagonal grille with mesh inserts and the headlamp detailing has also been updated. The bumper has design some changes to give a fresh look for the Aspire.
The side design remains to be same except for new V-shape design given for the alloy wheels. At the rear, Ford has given a new bumper along with tweaked tail lamps. Compared to exterior, the changes on the interior are much more substantial. The dual tone black and beige continues on the facelift model but the centre console has been completely redesigned.

The current Aspire centre console is clunky with lots of buttons. But the facelift model get 6.5 inch floating touch screen unit with Ford Sync 3 system which supports Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. This unit is the same one which is available on Freestyle. Apart from this, Ford will continue to offer similar features from the current model.
Ford Figo will be powered by three engine options. The entry level petrol engine will be new 1.2 L 3 cylinder unit producing 96 hp of power and 120 Nm of torque. The 1.5 L three cylinder petrol engine produces 123 PS of power and 150 Nm of torque in EcoSport and Ford might detune this engine for Aspire as they want to improve efficiency. These engines are part of new dragon series petrol engines.

The diesel engine is same 1.5 L TDCi unit producing 99 hp of power and 215 Nm of torque. Ford will introduce new 5 speed manual gearbox with Aspire facelift and the dual clutch automatic transmission is going to be replaced by regular automatic gearbox. We can expect a small bump in price compared to current model. Ford will officially launch Aspire in few months time and it will compete against Maruti Suzuki Dzire, Honda Amaze and Hyundai Xcent.
