Ford Endeavour sees massive boost in March 2016 sales; Toyota Fortuner took a dip by -71%
The all new Ford Endeavour launched in India in earlier this year in January. The large butch looking SUV garnered much appreciation. Compare to the previous model this new Endeavour looks much appealing with its muscular appearance and has seen rapid growth in the sales for this car.
The American automaker has sold a total of 385 units in March only, compare to only 3 units in the same month previous year. This marks a massive 12700% sales boost for the Ford Endeavour in a time, when most of the automakers has seen decline in sales figure.
Take the instance of the Toyota Fortuner, which is very popular SUV in Indian market, took a dip. It has sold only a total of 481 units compare to 1685 units, which marks 71% decline in the sales figure.

Mahindra and Mahindra is the largest SUV maker in Indian market. They are also the most popular brand in India, when it comes to buying SUVs. Mahindra Bolero has been one of the most popular SUV of India for quite long time.
In the March sales report it has seen a decline as well. Compare to 10481 units sold in previous year, the Bolero has sold 6072 units in March 2016, which marks 42% decline in the sales chart.
Mahindra Scorpio is certainly the most popular and best sold SUV of India. It has seen the decline in the sales as well, as in March 2016 Scorpio has sold 4015 units compare to the previous year’s 5250 units, which marks 24% decline.
