The Ford Aspire facelift will launch tomorrow and will rival the Maruti Dzire and the Honda Amaze, it will be available with SYNC3 infotainment along with revised specs
Ford India will launch the Ford Aspire facelift at an event in New Delhi tomorrow. The updated sedan will carry many styling changes, new features, and revised specs. The new model will have a higher mileage and better specifications. A new report states that the car will have a 5 years/1 lakh km warranty instead of the 2 years/1 lakh km warranty of the old car. The new model, like the earlier version, will rival the Maruti Dzire and the Hodna Amaze.
Ford Aspire facelift specs:
The Ford Aspire facelift will be powered by a new 1.2-litre engine from the company’s Dragon series of engines. The new motor produces 96 hp and will be mated to a five-speed manual transmission. It will replace the current base petrol engine. ARAI mileage will be rated at 20.4 kmpl, which is much more than the older engine’s 18.16 kmpl.
The 1.5-litre four-cylinder engine will be replaced with the new 1.5-litre three-cylinder engine. The current dual-clutch automatic transmission will be replaced by a torque converter unit to ensure the prices remain competitive. This engine offers 123 hp and 150 Nm, which is much more than the earlier engine. ARAI mileage, at 16.3 kmpl, is slightly lower than 17.0 kmpl.
The diesel engine for the Ford Aspire facelift will be the same motor that powers the earlier version. It will output 26.1 kmpl, which is slightly higher than 25.83 kmpl.
