The pre-facelifted Renault Duster and Mahindra TUV300, as well as Nissan Kicks, Volkswagen Tiguan and Honda CR-V, are offered with huge discounts
Unsurprisingly, the SUVs that are offered with plenty of discounts sit on the premium end of the spectrum. Honda Cars India has the CR-V as its flagship SUV in the domestic lineup and is sold with a massive cash discount of Rs. 2.5 lakh in July 2019. One of its rivals, Volkswagen Tiguan is also retailed with cash discount of Rs. 1.5 lakh.
Just as the above-mentioned SUVs, Hyundai’s Tucson is finding it hard to grab a big chunk of its segment and resultantly offered with Rs. 75,000 exchange bonus and Rs. 50,000 for Hyundai Associate as the cumulative benefits account to Rs. 1.5 lakh. The BR-V, on the other hand, gets Rs. 1.1 lakh benefits including Rs. 50,000 exchange bonus.
Renault India launched the facelifted Duster less than a week ago in the domestic market with exterior and interior updates. The remaining stocks of the pre-facelift are currently subjected to a highly lucrative discount of Rs. 1 lakh that includes Rs. 50,000 exchange bonus across the country.

The Kodiaq is sold with combined benefits of up to Rs. 1 lakh – inclusive of Rs. 85,000 cash discount. Renault’s global alliance partner Nissan debuted the Kicks mid-size SUV with plenty of anticipation in the first month of 2019. Despite the decent initial sales, the Kicks appears to be enduring tough time in the segment due to fierce competition.
In May 2019, Mahindra & Mahindra introduced the facelifted version of the TUV300 with a starting price of Rs. 8.38 lakh (ex-showroom, Mumbai). Its predecessor, however, is still remaining on stock resulting in a hefty discount of up to Rs. 1 lakh (Rs. 57,000 cash, Rs. 15,000 exchange and Rs. 5,000 accessories along with corporate and dealer benefits) for the T6 variant.
It should be mentioned that the offers are available in only select variants of the MY2019 stock. Don’t be surprised if more lucrative offers are announced in the coming months as we lead up to the festive season and end of the year.
