From the Royal Enfield Himalayan 750 to Hero’s new adventure bike and TVS’s upcoming sportbike, this year’s Milan motorcycle show could bring several important additions to the Indian market

EICMA 2026 will take place in Milan from November 3 to 8, and there is plenty for Indian motorcycle enthusiasts to look forward to. Here are five motorcycles worth keeping an eye out for. While some have a strong chance of reaching Indian showrooms, others are yet to be officially confirmed for the event or for an India launch.

1. Royal Enfield Himalayan 750

The Himalayan 750 is arguably one of the most anticipated motorcycles at EICMA 2026. Royal Enfield has already teased the motorcycle ahead of its global unveiling in Milan, and a near-production example was showcased at the Himalayan Base Camp in Ladakh. It is expected to use a new parallel-twin engine with a displacement close to 750 cc, positioned above the Himalayan 450.

Spy shots have revealed a 19-inch front wheel, a 17-inch rear wheel, upside-down front forks and twin front disc brakes. Alloy and tubeless-compatible spoke wheel options could also be offered. The larger engine should make it better suited to highway touring, while features such as cruise control and traction control are expected, though not yet officially confirmed. An India launch could follow the global debut.

2. Hero Xpulse 421

Hero MotoCorp is expected to introduce a bigger Xpulse, widely referred to as the Xpulse 421. Test motorcycles have been spotted in Ladakh, with Hero’s Dakar Rally riders involved in development testing. The motorcycle is expected to get an all-new 421 cc, liquid-cooled, single-cylinder engine.

Its long-travel suspension, tall windscreen, upright riding position and spoke wheels point towards a serious adventure-touring focus. If launched in India, it would sit above the Xpulse 210 and target riders looking for a more capable touring motorcycle without moving into the larger, more expensive middleweight segment. Hero has not yet officially confirmed its final name or specifications.

3. TVS Apache RR 450

TVS could finally expand its Apache range with a fully faired motorcycle in the 450 cc class. The upcoming sportbike is expected to draw inspiration from the Tangent RR concept shown at EICMA 2025. Spy shots and design filings suggest an aggressive riding position, aerodynamic bodywork and a twin-cylinder engine.

It is expected to share its platform and engine architecture with the BMW F 450 GS, although final specifications have not been announced. A production Apache RR 450 would give TVS a stronger presence in the premium sportbike segment, potentially appealing to riders looking to upgrade from the Apache RR 310.

4. Norton 450 roadster

Norton, now owned by TVS Motor Company, is preparing a new single-cylinder roadster in the 450 cc class. The motorcycle is expected to make its debut at EICMA before reaching India and other markets. It is expected to use a new platform and could produce around 40-45hp.

Representational

The roadster would sit below Norton’s larger Atlas and Manx families, offering the British marque a more accessible entry point. An India launch is expected to follow in 2027, although the motorcycle’s name, final specifications and price remain unconfirmed.

5. A new KTM adventure or sport-touring motorcycle

2026 KTM 390 Adventure

KTM is returning to EICMA after skipping the previous edition, and the company has announced plans to showcase new developments. However, it has not confirmed which motorcycles will be unveiled. A new model based on the 990 platform is among the possibilities being discussed, with the 990 Adventure and 990 SMT potential candidates. Neither has been officially confirmed as an EICMA debut. For India, a new KTM middleweight could be significant, particularly if the company eventually considers a local launch. For now, this remains the least certain entry on the list.
