With Chevrolet exiting from Indian market, the dealers are clearing out their stock of Chevy models. Thus, the Beat hatchback becomes much more affordable with cash discounts ranging between Rs. 85,000 and Rs. 1.25 lakh, depending on the volume of stock the retailers have. So, now with the discount being offered you can buy the Chevrolet Beat from Rs. 2.90 lakh compared to previous pricing of Rs. 3.95 lakh (ex-showroom, New Delhi).

On the petrol front, the Chevrolet Beat PS trim comes priced at Rs. 2.90 lakh, the LS model is offered at Rs. 3.18 lakh compared to Rs. 4.28 lakh and LT petrol model comes priced at Rs. 3.65 lakh compared to Rs. 4.85 lakh. The top end petrol model LTZ is offered at Rs. 3.65 lakh compared to Rs. 5.32 lakh (ex-showroom, New Delhi).

On the diesel front, the base model Beat PS is offered at Rs. 3.85 lakh instead of Rs. 4.95 lakh. The LS diesel model comes priced at Rs. 4.15 lakh compared to Rs. 5.30 lakh, while the LT diesel is available at Rs. 4.50 lakh compared to 5.61 lakh and the top end LTZ model gets a price tag of Rs. 5.10 lakh compared to Rs. 6.35 lakh (ex-showroom, New Delhi).

General Motors owned Chevrolet has already announced its exit from the domestic market on 18th may this year. The company has sold its Halol plant to its Chinese partner SAIC. It will continue production at the Talegaon plant for the overseas market. In this situation, Chevrolet dealers are trying to clear out their unsold stock and to lure the buyers they are offering huge discounts.
