Some dealerships in Delhi-NCR are known to be offering a cash discount of more than a lakh rupees on the 2018 MY stock of the Mahindra Marazzo, Limited Stocks
We have learnt that select dealerships in Delhi-NCR are offering huge discounts on the Mahindra Marazzo. These offers are available only on the fast-depleting leftover stock 2018 model and comprises of direct cash discounts.
While both the MY2018 and MY2019 stock of the Mahindra Marazzo is available with a cash discount of Rs 16,000, the last year’s inventory is additionally available with an additional cash discount of Rs 85,000 on the M4, M6 & M8 variant in limited colours. This translates into a considerable saving of more than a lakh rupees on the most modern Mahindra MPV yet.
Powering the Mahindra Marazzo is an all-new 1.5-litre turbocharged diesel engine that produces a maximum power of 121 bhp @ 3,500 rpm and a peak torque of 300 Nm from 1,750 rpm to 2,500 rpm. The motor comes mated to a six-speed manual transmission. The motor offers an ARAI-rated mileage of 17.3 km/l.
The design of the Mahindra Marazzo is said to be inspired from a shark. The aesthetics of the MPV are a joint work of Pininfarina and the company’s Kandivali-based design centre in Mumbai.
The Mahindra Marazzo has been co-developed by Mahindra Research Valley (MRV) in Chennai, India, and Mahindra North American Technical Centre (MNATC) in Michigan, USA. It is the world’s first vehicle to have a transversely-mounted engine and a front-wheel-drive layout that is supported by a ladder-on-frame chassis.
Dubbed ‘Best of Both Worlds’, this patented architecture helps Mahindra Marazzo with benefits of a traditional ladder-on-frame setup along with advantages that come from having a transversely mounted engine that powers the front wheels.
