Toyota has displayed its C-HR crossover at the ongoing SEMA 2017 in Las Vegas. The car comes with race focused tuning and the automaker claims it is currently the quickest CUV of the world. What’s more interesting is this race-tuned Toyota C-HR recorded 1:25.22 minute lap timing at Willow Springs that was faster than a McLaren 650S Spyder, a Porsche 911 GT3 RS and a Nissan GT-R Nismo.

While this car is grabbing all the attention at the Toyota booth at SEMA 2017, the Japanese automaker is also showcasing several customised Camry among the total 18 vehicles on display in the event. NASCAR drivers like Martin Truex Jr, Kyle Busch, Denny Hamlin and Daniel Suarez designed their own cars for SEMA.

As the brand says, it is emphasising on two particular models at the ongoing SEMA. These vehicles are the all-new 2018 Toyota Camry and the C-HR. The latter one is expected to bring a fresh set of customers to the company and showing the race-spec tuning will enhance its appeal further. The C-HR R-Tuned comes powered by a four-cylinder engine that has been upgraded with a custom turbo system and thanks to the modification this car churns out 600 hp of peak power.

The C-HR also received several aerodynamic mod-jobs that produce 136 kg of downforce keeping the car stable even during high speed run. Braking and acceleration too have been improved. It carries Brembo racing brakes, Toyota race tyres and triple-adjustable DG-spec Motion Control suspension. Toyota says that it can accelerate 0-100 kmph in just 2.9 seconds.
