This Royal Enfield Thunderbird 500 ‘Iron Maiden’ Looks Gorgeous

The motorcycle has been transformed into a more laid back cruiser that looks sporty and comfortable at the same time

Seems that Royal Enfield motorcycles are a preferred choice of motorcycle custom shops when it comes to bike modification. Over the time, we have been regularly bringing modified marvels that have been based on the RE motorcycles. Now, a new such example is going popular on the internet. Bulleteer Customs, a Bangalore based custom shop has recently converted a stock Thunderbird 500 into a more laid back cruiser.

Digging into further details, the modified Royal Enfield Thunderbird 500 has been christened Iron Maiden. The bike gets wide ape hanger handlebars that help in a more relaxed riding position. Besides this, the motorcycle has been assisted with a custom fuel tank and ribbed seats that make it look appealing.

The headlamp of the Iron Maiden is also custom made, which is a circular unit that mimics LED. The conventional turning winkers on this motorcycle have also given way to bar end mirrors.

The suspension system on the Iron Maiden has been lifted from the company’s Classic range. The rear suspension of this motorcycle uses gas charged twin shock absorbers. The side boxes and fenders on this motorcycle are also custom made lending an elegant touch. In terms of braking, the Iron Maiden has been assisted with a 280mm disc brake upfront that pairs with a 240mm disc brake at the rear.

As far as bodywork is concerned, the Iron Maiden has been drenched in white and black paint scheme. The engine, alloy wheels, frame and the suspension up front are all blacked out and offers a sporty visual appeal to the motorcycle.

Speaking of powertrain, the Iron Maiden is powered by the stock engine of the Thunderbird 500 that displaces 499cc and has been rated at 27 bhp and 41 Nm. The exhaust system is dual exit type that looks robust. Gearbox is the same five-speed unit.
