Citroen is preparing to expand its Indian line-up with three new vehicles: a small A-segment car, a C-segment SUV and a D-segment MPV. The additions form part of Stellantis’ FaSTLAne 2030 roadmap, which aims to strengthen the group’s presence in India through new products, greater localisation and an expanded retail network.
Stellantis plans to introduce 12 new or updated vehicles across its Jeep and Citroen brands over the next three years. Seven will be all-new products, while the remaining five will be major updates to existing models. The first launch under this programme is scheduled for the second quarter of 2027. The new models will address segments that Citroen does not currently cover with its existing Indian portfolio.
Citroen has not announced the names, specifications, prices or individual launch dates of these vehicles.
The new A-segment car will sit below the C3, giving Citroen an entry-level offering for buyers looking for a compact urban vehicle. An electric powertrain is one possibility, potentially putting it in contention with models such as the MG Comet EV and Tata Tiago EV. However, the company has not confirmed whether the upcoming car will be electric.

The upcoming C-segment SUV will expand Citroen’s presence above the Aircross and Basalt. Details about its design, powertrain and equipment remain undisclosed. The D-segment MPV will add another body style to the range. Citroen has not revealed its seating configuration or whether it will use a petrol, diesel, hybrid or electric powertrain.
The product expansion is backed by an additional investment of approximately Rs 4,000 crore over the next three years. This will take Stellantis’ cumulative investment in India to around Rs 15,000 crore by 2030. Of the 12 planned launches, Citroen will account for seven, while Jeep will contribute five. Stellantis is also working towards increasing localisation, with a target of 90% for vehicles manufactured in India.
