BMW Introduces Limited Edition Cruise M Sports Bike

The German automaker celebrates launch of M2 coupe by introducing Cruise M bike

German luxury automaker BMW has introduced an all new limited edition Cruise M sports bike to celebrate the launch of their M2 coupe. The bike comes inspired by the performance coupe’s design. It dons a Long Beach Blue metallic paint and sports a hydro formed aluminium body frame with an interesting ‘bull neck’ which reminisces of the fuel tank position of the motorcycle.

The Cruise M bike gets smooth welded seams, Shimano hydraulic disk brakes fitted to 28 inch wheels. It also sports a 30 gear drive system and a carbon fibre seat post and spacer, which altogether makes the bike stronger and conveniently lightweight. The bike also sports BMW and M badge as specially made plaque, which distinguishes the bike as the ‘BMW M Bike Limited Edition’.

The German automaker will only built a total of 1500 units of this special edition bike and these bikes will be available for purchase from selected BMW retail outlets. The pricing for these bikes starts at $1585, which is equivalent to Rs. 105244. Although the German automaker has been known for making elegant luxury cars and high end sporty performance cars, but the company also has been making bicycles for more than 60 years.

The BMW M2 is a performance oriented coupe styled luxury car which comes aggressive and stylish at the same time. Alongside the exterior aggressive design the car boasts luxurious and sporty charming interior. Power source for the car is a 3.0 litre 4 cylinder M Twin-power turbocharged engine with 2979 cc displacement which gets mated to DKG transmission. It produces 365 hp of peak power at 6500 rpm along with 500 Nm of peak torque at 1400 – 5560 rpm. The M2 coupe can reach 0 – 100 kmph in just 4.4 seconds with a top speed of 250 kmph.
