Bajaj Auto may have more than one adventure motorcycle up its sleeve. Waldyr Ferreira, Executive Director of Bajaj Brazil, has hinted at multiple offerings in the trail motorcycle segment, suggesting that the brand’s plans go beyond the single ADV spotted testing in India and Brazil.
A 250 cc adventure motorcycle has been the subject of speculation ever since Bajaj’s test bike was spotted on Indian roads. Earlier reports suggested it could use an engine derived from the Pulsar N250, which produces 24.5 PS and 21.5 Nm. However, the latest comments do not confirm that engine, nor do they establish whether the motorcycle will be offered with multiple powertrains.
A smaller 150cc to 160cc ADV could also be on the cards, especially for markets where affordability and ease of use matter as much as outright performance. Brazil already has popular trail motorcycles such as the Honda NXR Bros 160 and Yamaha Crosser 150. A larger model could sit above these, taking on motorcycles such as the Yamaha Lander 250 and Honda Sahara 300. For now, these are possibilities rather than confirmed products. Ferreira’s comments point to multiple offerings, but Bajaj has not disclosed their engine capacities or launch plans.

The first motorcycle is expected to arrive before the end of 2026. Ferreira had previously said that prototypes were already in Brazil and that he had ridden one, describing it as a potential Christmas gift for customers waiting for a Bajaj on-road/off-road motorcycle. Parts development and homologation were also underway.
Spy shots have shown a tall front beak, fork gaiters, wire-spoke wheels, a long single-piece seat and a high-mounted exhaust. The riding position appears upright, while the suspension comprises telescopic front forks and a rear monoshock. A digital instrument cluster has also been spotted on test bikes.

Bajaj has trademarked the Trekker name, which could be used for the production motorcycle. The company has yet to confirm the name, specifications or pricing. A multi-model strategy would allow Bajaj to reach riders looking for an affordable, lightweight trail bike as well as those wanting more performance for touring. Whether that translates into a 150 cc and a 250 cc ADV, or a different combination altogether, remains to be seen.
