This modified Pulsar NS200 comes with a dual exhaust along with wider rear tyre and engine guards with sliders

HTRZ Modz is one of the most popular modification bike shops in Kerala and their specialization is in custom racing exhausts. In their latest project, they have worked their magic on a Bajaj Pulsar NS 200. The custom shop has retained the overall design of the stock bike and they didn’t make any changes to most of the body parts.

The stock exhaust has been replaced by a new dual under seat exhaust, which is tuned to produce a sporty exhaust note. Apart from this, they have also given a new custom made swing-arm to accommodate the new 180 section Michelin tyre. Even though the custom shop has given a wider tyre, it still retains the 17-inch wheel size. The front tyre is 100/80 section tyre.

The modified Pulsar NS 200 also gets a new engine guard with sliders. The engine remains stock and the wider tyre might hamper performance. The 199.5 cc single cylinder engine producing 23.2 bhp of power at 9,500 rpm and 18.3 Nm of torque at 8,000 rpm. This engine is mated to a 6-speed gearbox.

This modified Baja Pulsar NS 200 is finished in blue colour with black and white graphics. But this colour is not available on the current NS200 series as the company is offering three colour options now – Graphite Black, Mirage White and Red. The braking duties are handled by 280 mm disc brake at front and 230 mm at the rear.

Bajaj is offering single-channel ABS system with Pulsar NS 200 and we are expecting the company to soon offer dual channel system. The NS200 comes with telescopic suspension at the front and the rear gets Nitrox mono suspension, which is tuned for comfort.

The dimensions of Pulsar NS 200 are 2,017 mm in length, 804 mm in width, 1,075 mm in height and 1,363 mm as wheelbase. The ground clearance is 167 mm and the seat height is 805 mm. The total cost of modification is around Rs. 28,000, which is reasonable considering the changes.
