Bajaj Pulsar 220F is one of the most affordable performance bikes in the country and the model has lots of fan following across the country. The company is going to introduce an update for the Pulsar range soon and the 220F will get dual channel ABS as part of the new safety regulations by government.

The Pulsar 220F with ABS was spotted on test alongside Pulsar 150 and the new model also gains a belly pan, apart from this everything remains the same. The test mule was finished in signature black colour with red graphics and we can expect a price hike of around 8000-10,000 as it will take the Pulsar 220F price above Rs. 1 lakh mark.

The performance bike is powered by 220 cc single cylinder engine producing 21 bhp of power at 8,500 rpm and 19 Nm of torque at 7,000 rpm. This engine is mated to a 5-speed gearbox and the bike return 38 kmpl. Bajaj has given 15-litre fuel tank for Pulsar 220F.

The performance bike can do 0-60 kph in 3.9 sec and top speed is 134 kph. The braking power comes from 260 mm disc brake at front and 230 mm disc at the rear. The alloy wheels are 17-inch with 90/90 section tyre at the front and 120/80 section tyre at the rear.

Bajaj has given telescopic suspension at the front and 5 way adjustable dual gas charged suspension at the rear. The suspension has been tuned to deliver good handling and the 220F comes with split seats. The design of 220F still remains unchanged as it has become an icon in the Indian performance bike segment.

The front get projector headlamps and a tall visor along with clip-on handle bars and rear set foot pegs for a sporty riding position. The company has given an analog tachometer and digital speedometer with lots of information for the rider. The Pulsar 220F is available in four colours – Laser Black, Dyno Red, Chrome Black and Nuclear Blue.
