Bajaj Pulsar series has contributed significantly to the company’s overall sales volume and it even crossed the 1 lakh sales mark the previous month

There is no denying the fact that Bajaj Pulsar 150 is the most popular sporty offering in the country. This is also the reason why the Pulsar is the best selling model in the Bajaj’s lineup. In March 2019 the motorcycle crossed the one lakh sales milestone in just a single month in the domestic market.

The good news does not end there though when all the two-wheeler manufacturers are struggling with their dwindling sales numbers the Pulsar 150 sales are up by 18 per cent in April 2019. During the month of April 2019, Bajaj sold a total of 57,045 units of their popular Bajaj Pulsar 150 model compared to 48,319 units sold during the same period of time last year resulting in a growth of 18 per cent.

That said, Bajaj sold a total of 2,05,875 motorcycles in the month of May 2019 compared to 2,00,742 units sold during the same period of time last year that resulting in a growth of 2.6 per cent and earning them the fourth spot in the Indian two-wheeler market.

Bajaj Auto also exported 1,60,393 units in the month of April 2019 compared to 1,48,875 units witnessing a year-on-year growth of eight percent. Bajaj motorcycles sales stood at 366,268 units up by five percent over 3,49,617 units sold in April last year.

Bajaj first introduced the Pulsar brand back in 2001 and it has done wonders for the two-wheeler manufacturer. For your information, the Pulsar 150 is the largest selling model in the lineup while the Pulsar 220F, RS200, and NS200 too contribute significantly as well to the monthly sales numbers. Bajaj recently gave the entire Pulsar lineup some significant upgrades for the year 2019.

The entire lineup received both cosmetic and the compulsory ABS safety feature update as standard. What is also interesting is also the fact that Bajaj also introduced the Pulsar 180F this year as well with the same semi-faired body kit from the 220F making it the most affordable semi-faired motorcycle in the Bajaj lineup.
