In the list of upcoming SUVs in India, we have explained about the six models that are launching within the next two months

The Indian auto market will welcome a host of new SUVs until the end of this year and here we have mentioned the six upcoming SUVs that are waiting to hit the market within the next two months:

1. Hyundai Exter:

The micro SUV will hit the market offically on July 10 and it will compete against Tata Punch directly. The Hyundai Exter will be offered in an expansive range and it will be powered by a 1.2L NA petrol engine, paired with a five-speed MT or an AMT. The factory-fitted CNG variant will also be available. Based on the same platform as i10 and Aura, it will be loaded with features including six airbags as standard.

2. Kia Seltos Facelift:

Only a few days ago, Kia India unveiled the facelifted Seltos and its prices will be announced later this month before the commencement of deliveries. The updated midsize SUV gets a redesigned front fascia and rear while the interior gains new features including Level 2 ADAS. A new 1.5L turbo petrol engine kicking out 160 PS and 253 Nm joins the lineup.

3. Honda Elevate:

The Honda Elevate made its market debut early last month and its prices will be revealed later next month or in September 2023. It will be retailed in a total of four variants and will derive power from a 1.5L NA four-cylinder VTEC petrol engine developing 121 PS and 145 Nm. It will be mated to a six-speed MT or a CVT. Based on the same architecture as the fifth-gen City, it will have a practical and spacious cabin but no hybrid engine will be available.

4. Citroen C3 Aircross:

The Citroen C3 Aircross will be sold in five- and seven-seater configurations and is equipped with a 1.2L three-cylinder turbo petrol engine, connected to a six-speed manual transmission only. The midsize SUV is underpinned by the CMP platform as the C3 hatchback and it will likely be priced competitively in India, judging by the cost-cutting measures made. Price announcement likely next month.

5. Tata Nexon Facelift:

The updated version of the Tata Nexon is expected to come to the fore in August 2023. Taking design inspiration from the Curvv concept, the compact SUV will have a thoroughly revised exterior and the interior will be more upmarket with the presence of a larger 10.25-inch touchscreen, new two-spoke steering wheel with illuminated logo, haptic touch controls for AC, etc. It will use a more powerful all-new 1.2L turbo DI petrol enigne, mated to a six-speed MT or a DCT.

6. New Mercedes-Benz GLC:

The second generation Mercedes-Benz GLC will more likely launch this month or in August in India. It will be available in GLC 200 and GLC 200d guises and both will use a 48V integrated started motor helping in additional power boost. It gets an updated exterior and interior while the features list will be more premium.
