In the list of new SUVs coming in 2024, we have explained about the models that have already been spied testing in India

The upcoming SUVs from manufacturers like Tata, Mahindra, Hyundai, Kia and Nissan feature in this article as they are getting closer to their market launch next year in India.

1. Tata Curvv:

Tata Motors will launch the electric version of the Curvv first in the first half of 2024 and it has been spotted testing multiple times already. The Curvv EV will be offered with a large battery pack capable of a claimed driving range of over 500 km while the 4.3m long ICE variant will compete against midsize SUVs like Hyundai Creta and Kia Seltos.

2. Kia Sonet Facelift:

The facelifted Kia Sonet will be introduced in early 2024 and it will continue to be powered by the 1.2L NA petrol, 1.0L turbo petrol and 1.5L diesel engines. However, the major changes will occur on the outside and inside the cabin. It will get a thoroughly redesigned front fascia and rear end while the interior will be more upmarket with the addition of new features and technologies.

3. Hyundai Creta Facelift:

Hyundai’s biggest launch of 2024 will undoubtedly be the Creta facelift. The best-selling midsize SUV in the country will gain a completely overhauled exterior and interior while the equipment list will comprise Level 2 ADAS and other new features. A new 1.5L turbo petrol engine churning out 160 PS and 253 Nm will also join the lineup.

4. Mahindra XUV300 Facelift & 5-Door Thar:

The facelifted Mahindra XUV300 will receive design revisions in line with the upcoming BE range and the existing XUV700 as the grille, headlamps and DRLs will be brand new. The bumper at the front and rear, tail lamp section and alloy wheels will be redesigned as well. The interior will become more modern and upmarket to firmly compete against modern rivals such as Tata Nexon and the upcoming Kia Sonet.

5. Nissan X-Trail:

The Nissan X-Trail gained a notable update earlier this year and it will compete against Skoda Kodiaq, Jeep Meridian and VW Tiguan upon arrival in India. The seven-seater could use a petrol/hybrid powertrain or the e-Power range extender tech could be introduced in India upon launch next year.
