2024 Force Gurkha five-door and three-door versions will be launched in the coming weeks in India; gets larger touchscreen and a new digital console

Force Motors has released another teaser video of the upcoming five-door Gurkha while its three-door sibling has also been confirmed to make a comeback. The five-door Force Gurkha will compete with the Maruti Suzuki Jimny and the upcoming five-door Mahindra Thar Armada and it will have larger proportions than the former and will offer seven-seater configuration.

The prices of the five- and three-door Force Gurkhas will be revealed in the coming weeks and expect the former to have a starting price of around Rs. 16.5 lakh (ex-showroom). The latest teaser video has revealed a host of details surrounding the interior as the cabin will boast an all-black theme and the seats will have a two-tone leatherette finish.

Additionally, a larger touchscreen infotainment system will be added with presumably Apple CarPlay and Android Auto compatibility and a new fully digital instrument console. Features such as Tyre Pressure Monitoring System, adjustable headrests, shift-on-fly 4WD knob, an old school dashboard finish, circular AC vents, manual parking brake, power window switches and storage space on the centre console and diff lock controls will be available.

The five-door version will have a longer wheelbase compared to the three-door Gurkha but no major exterior changes between them have appeared on the teaser videos. On the outside, the lifestyle off-road SUVs feature circular LED headlamps and LED Daytime Running Lights, newly designed alloy wheels wrapped in all-terrain rubber and a grille section similar to the old model.

Features such as spare wheel mounted on the tailgate and a snorkel are identical to the previous Gurkha as well. As for the performance, the Mercedes-Benz sourced 2.6L four-cylinder diesel engine will be carried over and it produces a maximum power output of 90 PS and 250 Nm.
