So, let’s have a look at the details of the 4 Tata SUVs launching this year in India.

1. Tata Punch Facelift

Tata Punch has been in the market since 2021 and after the launch of its electric version with a new design language, the updated version of the micro-SUV is the need of the hour. Recently spotted testing for the first time, the Punch Facelift is expected to go on sale around the festive season 2024. Talking about the design changes, connected LED DRLs, vertically stacked headlamps and updated bumpers are expected, in line with the latest crop of Tata SUVs.

Inside the cabin, expect the Punch Facelift to sport a new two-spoke steering wheel, minor tweaks to the dashboard layout with an updated feature set such as a digital instrument cluster, 10.25-inch infotainment system, 360-degree parking camera, wireless charging and more. Mechanically, the Punch Facelift will remain the same with a familiar 1.2-litre petrol engine under the hood.

2. Tata Curvv EV

Tata Curvv EV will be the next big launch from Tata Motors in the electric vehicle segment. The coupe-SUV was last showcased at the Bharat Mobility Global Expo 2024 in its near-production ICE version and it is expected to debut around mid-2024 in its EV guise which will be followed by the introduction of the conventionally powered Curvv.

Based on Tata Motor’s new Generation 2 EV architecture, which is a flexible platform to accommodate multiple body types and powertrains, the car will come with a claimed range of 400-500 kilometres on a single charge.

The petrol-powered versions of the Tata Harrier and Safari are long due and we expect them to debut by the end of this year.
