Mahindra is working on a host of new products in the premium space as part of the 10 ICE and 6 electric launches it has planned between FY2027 and FY2031, as announced on 5 May 2026. In calendar year 2027, the company will likely conduct at least four major launches, and it has started testing these models on public roads.
The first of these four upcoming Mahindras will be the production version of the Vision.S concept introduced in August 2025. Expected to be launched in the first quarter, this compact SUV has been undergoing road trials for around a year now. It will be designed to give the tough and rugged impression of a body-on-frame SUV, but one based on a monocoque platform that offers better comfort and road manners.
This model’s squarish and high-riding exterior will be contrasted by a contemporary cabin featuring a two-spoke steering wheel, a fully digital instrument cluster, a large touchscreen infotainment system, and a panoramic sunroof. It will be the first Mahindra based on the NU_IQ platform, which supports conventional ICE, partially electric, and fully electric applications. The upcoming compact SUV is only expected to be offered with 1.2-litre turbocharged petrol and 1.5-litre turbocharged diesel engines at launch.

Following the production version of the Vision.S, Mahindra’s second ICE vehicle launch in 2027 would be the Scorpio Lifestyler, the new pickup truck it unveiled this August. Derived from the Scorpio N, this model will be primarily targeted at off-road enthusiasts and adventure-minded customers. Mahindra has confirmed that sales will commence by April, with prices starting below Rs. 19.79 lakh (ex-showroom).
Mahindra also plans to launch the production version of the BE.07 concept that debuted in August 2022 next year. This will be a 5-seat C-segment electric SUV competing with the Tata Harrier.ev and likely measure about 4.6 metres in length, 1.9 metres in width, and 1.7 metres in height.

Mahindra will likely offer it with features, powertrains, and battery packs similar to the XEV 9S. At least one of the configurations should be capable of travelling over 650 kilometres on a single charge. The company has been testing this model on public roads for over six months now and could launch it in mid-2027.
Mahindra’s second major EV launch in 2027 would be the production version of the Vision.T concept introduced in August 2025. Positioned as an alternative to the Thar Roxx, this model should be the first EV based on the NU_IQ platform and have an even more purposeful and muscular design.
Unlike the BE and XEV electric models, it could be offered in a dual-motor AWD variant as well. That, along with a higher ground clearance and shorter overhangs, is likely to give it much better off-road capability. Mahindra started testing this model only recently and may launch it around the festive season next year.
