Toyota is expected to introduce three new models or variants in the India in 2024 and we have compiled information about them here

Toyota Kirloskar Motor (TKM) has an all-electric SUV waiting in the pipeline for 2025 while the seven-seater Corolla Cross will reportedly enter production in early 2026 at the third plant in Bidadi, Karnataka. Here we have explained about the three possible new models/variants that are expected to launch in 2024:

1. Toyota Urban Cruiser Taisor:

In the initial months of 2024, Toyota could unveil a new compact SUV coupe, essentially a rebadged iteration of the Maruti Suzuki Fronx. Positioned above the Glanza premium hatchback, this five-seater is set to feature a 1.2L naturally aspirated three-cylinder petrol engine and a 1.0L turbocharged Booster Jet petrol engine, connected to manual and automatic transmission choices.

It will have subtle exterior and interior differences compared to the Fronx and thus we can expect a different grille section with Toyota badging but no major changes are likely. The equipment list will comprise a touchscreen infotainment system with connectivity options, a semi-digital instrument console, six airbags, automatic climate control, UHD, A 360-degree camera system, adjustable headrests, etc.

2. Toyota Fortuner Mild Hybrid:

Toyota revealed the mild-hybrid iteration of the Hilux in the European market a while ago, with intentions to introduce it across various other regions. Additionally, the Fortuner full-size SUV is poised to adopt this same technology, ensuring a reduction in emissions, enhanced performance, and improved fuel efficiency.

Considering that the Fortuner is the best-selling model in its segment, we can expect the mild-hybrid diesel mill to be employed along the course of the 2024 calendar year. While speculations surrounding the next-gen Fortuner exist for long, it does not appear to be arriving anytime sooner globally.

4. Toyota Camry Hybrid Facelift:
