2024 Tata Nexon Dark Edition and Nexon EV Dark Edition get black treated exterior and a host of interior enhancements
Tata Motors has today announced the launch of the new Nexon EV Dark Edition, which was showcased at the Bharat Mobility Global Expo last month along with its ICE sibling, the regular Nexon EV Dark along with the Dark Editions of the Harrier and Safari. The 2024 Tata Nexon Dark carries a starting price of Rs. 11.45 lakh (ex-showroom).
The Dark Edition was first introduced in 2019 in Harrier and due to its overwhelming response, it was expanded to other models two years later. The new Nexon EV Dark Edition boasts a striking visual appearance characterised by sharper lines and a more muscular stance courtesy of the signature Dark mascot and a dark exterior treatment.
The cabin gains all-black leatherette seats, 9-speaker JBL audio, SOS Calling function, embedded maps view in the digital cockpit, and a blind spot view monitor. Other highlights are Vehicle to Vehicle Charging and Vehicle to Load technology, Aracade.ev, an inbuilt app suite with 15+ apps, a 31.24 cm touchscreen infotainment system by Harman and smart digital lights with end-to-end DRL and tail lamps.

With no mechanical changes, the 2024 Tata Nexon EV Dark Edition continues to have a claimed driving range of up to 465 km on a single charge. The new Tata Nexon Dark ICE based on the recently facelifted model gets similar design cues as the electric version. It features a chiseled hood, sleek LED lamps, exclusive #Dark mascot and a dark-themed exterior.
The all-black interior theme is accompanied by black leatherette seats adorned with #Dark badging embroidered on the headrests, a ‘Hidden until lit’ Capacitive Touch FATC panel, integration of Amazon Alexa and Tata Voice Assistant offering over 200 voice commands in six languages, a wireless smartphone charger, etc.
It has been offered in both petrol and diesel engine choices. The 1.2L turbo petrol engine kicks out 120 PS and 170 Nm while the diesel mill delivers 115 PS and 260 Nm. Both are paired with manual and automatic transmissions.
