The 2024 MG Hector Shine Pro and Select Pro are equipped with a 14-inch touchscreen, all-black interior theme, wireless charger, etc
MG Motor India has today announced the inclusion of two new variants for the Hector in the domestic market as part of expanding its lineup. The addition of Shine Pro and Select Pro has added new equipment snd technologies to the mix. The 2024 MG Hector now carries a starting price of Rs. 13.99 lakh (ex-showroom) and both new variants are packed with features.
The 2024 MG Hector Shine Pro and Select Pro are equipped with a 14-inch HD portrait-oriented touchscreen infotainment system with Wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto interface along with a wireless smartphone charger. On the outside, both variants come with LED projector headlamps, LED turn indicators, LED connected tail lamps, and chrome finished outside door handles.
The interior of both variants feature an all-black theme with a premium upholstery, a leather-wrapped multifunctional steering wheel along with a brushed metal finish in the CVT-equipped five-seater variant, an all-digital instrument console with a 17.78 cm embedded LCD screen, a push button engine start & stop feature with a smart key function. In addition, the new Hector Shine Pro and Select Pro offer digital Bluetooth key and key sharing capability.

MG says the new variants have been introduced after using insights from its market research, industry analysis and customer feedback. The 2024 MG Hector Shine Pro is priced at Rs. 15,99,800 while the Select Pro costs Rs. 17,29,800 (ex-showroom) and they are available with MG Shield after sales service option besides the standard three-year warranty package. It includes three years with unlimited kilometres, three years of roadside assistance, and three labour-free periodic services.
In addition, customers will get customised options to extend their warranty or RSA or opt for the Protect plans which are the company’s pre-paid maintenance packages. As for safety, cruise control, EPB, disc brakes on all four wheels, ESP, TCS, HAC, ABS with EBD, Brake Assist, seatbelt reminder for all occupants, follow-me-home headlamps, cornering front fog lamps, defogger at the front and rear, speed sensing auto door lock, ISOFIX child seat anchorage, high-speed warning alert are offered. The Select Pro is available with a set of 18-inch diamond-cut alloy wheels while the Shine Pro features 17-inch silver alloy wheels.
