The price list of the 2023 Kia Seltos facelift will be announced by the end of this month in India; gets a host of new updates
Kia India will announce the prices of the 2023 Seltos by the end of this month in the domestic market. The facelifted midsize SUV was unveiled a few days ago with a myriad of revisions inside and out while the features list has also been heavily updated. In addition, the facelifted Seltos gets a new powertrain that acts as a replacement for the 1.4L turbo petrol unit.
The 2023 Kia Seltos comes with a redesigned front fascia boasting extended LED Daytime Running Lights, sleeker LED headlamps, and an updated bumper with wider air intake and lower trim. Other visual enhancements are newly designed dual-tone alloy wheels, a brand new rear with inverted L-shaped LED signatures connected by a horizontal LED light bar, and an updated bumper with a new skid plate.
The 1.5L NA four-cylinder petrol engine continues to develop around 115 PS maximum power and 144 Nm of peak torque while the 1.5L four-cylinder diesel mill kicks out 116 PS and 250 Nm. The all-new 1.5L turbocharged petrol engine can also be found in the new generation Verna, Hyundai Alcazar and Kia Carens, and is linked with a six-speed iMT as standard.
The powertrain generates 160 PS and 253 Nm and it can also be had with a seven-speed dual-clutch automatic unit as an option. The interior features a curved display that integrates the 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system and the all-digital instrument console, newly designed HVAC vents, dual pane sunroof, wireless charging facility, six airbags as standard and so on.
The single-tone exterior colour schemes available are new Pewter Oliver, Clear White, Sparkling Silver, Gravity Grey, Aurora Black Pearl, Glacier White, Intense Red, and Imperial Blue while dual-tone shades are Intense Red and Glacier White Pearl with Aurora Black Pearl.
The 2023 Kia Seltos will be offered in three variants namely, Tech Line, GT Line and X Line. The Tech Line can be divided into five trims – HTE, HTK, HTK+, HTX, and HTX+. The bookings will commence on July 14 and the prices will be slightly higher than the outgoing model.
