Booking for the 2023 Kia Seltos Facelift has begun in India for an initial token of Rs. 25,000 and prices will be revealed by the end of this month
Kia India has commenced the official reservations of the facelifted Seltos in the domestic market for an initial token of Rs. 25,000. Less than a couple of weeks ago, the South Korean auto major unveiled the updated midsize SUV in India and its prices will be announced later this month. It gets a redesigned exterior and an updated interior.
The equipment list has also been updated and a new powertrain has joined the lineup. Consumers can reduce the waiting period by grabbing a K-code, applicable to the bookings made through Kia’s web portal. It can also be generated by existing Seltos owners through the MyKia application or the website. The 2023 Kia Seltos will be offered in X-Line, GT-Line and Tech Line trims.
The Tech Line is classified into HTE, HTK, HTK+, HTX and HTX+ trims while the GT Line gets GTX+ and the X-Line variant comes in an exclusive Matte Graphite shade. The colour schemes in which the 2023 Kia Seltos will be made available are Intense Red, Glacier White Pearl, Sparkling Silver, Pewter Olive, Aurora Black Pearl, Imperial Blue, Glacier White Pearl With Aurora Black Pearl, Gravity Gray and Intense Red With Aurora Black Pearl.
The exterior features extended LED DRLs, revised headlamps, new 18-inch alloy wheels, updated front and rear bumpers, inverted L-shaped LED tail lamps, a horizontal light bar and a tweaked tailgate. The interior gains a curved display housing the 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system and the digital instrument cluster, new HVAC vents and controls, etc.
The equipment list boasts a new sage green interior theme in X-Line, a dual-tone black and white theme in GT Line, a dual-pane sunroof, six airbags as standard, TPMS, ESC, HAC, Level 2 ADAS technology, EPB, a 360-degree around view camera system, dual-zone automatic climate control, an eight-inch HUD, eight-speaker Bose audio, and so on.
Under the bonnet, the familiar 1.5L four-cylinder petrol and the 1.5L four-cylinder turbo diesel engines are accompanied by an all-new 1.5L turbo petrol mill producing a maximum power output of 160 PS and 253 Nm of peak torque. The new engine is linked with a six-speed iMT or a seven-speed DCT.
